" Porth Tywyn Mawr in early summer, situated next to the Sandy Beach Caravan Park.. even though I've lived here most my life I've only just discovered this hidden gem! Thanks to Paul at the Bay Tree Gallery who commissioned me to draw 'their' beach for Lucy's birthday. Half a mile of gorgeous golden sand, perfect for a short stroll with the little ones. If anybody has visited in June they will be familiar with the field of wild flowers parallel, a woven blanket of bright red poppies and little blue and yellow flowers. Such a treat to view against the backdrop of bluey grey skies, which undoubtedly added to the special ambiance of this exquisite secret spot." - Beth
