"Beach days are the best days! Beautiful Benllech, where I grew up. This drawing fills me with fond memories of long hot summer days at middle beach where our beach hut once stood, nestled on the hill between Red Wharf Bay and the busier main beach. Hours of fun building sand castles, collecting shells, rock pooling with my brothers, digging enormous holes for the tide to later engorge, swimming in the sea, building tiny houses out of flotsam and jetsam, playing rounders and if we were really lucky, devouring a Mr Whippy ice cream on the weary sandy toed walk back home." - Beth
