Cemaes Framed Print (Limited Edition)
“A wonderful birthday treat to the North shore of Anglesey, walks along the coastal path from Bull Bay in the sunshine we arrived at Cemaes, the name Cemaes derives from the Welsh word cemais, meaning 'bend or loop in a river, inlet of sea, bay'.
Cemaes is an area of outstanding natural beauty, with its lovely picturesque harbour and golden sandy beaches you can see why! This gorgeous little sea-side village has much to offer with its beautiful coastal properties overlooking the bay, we watched the fishing boats bring in their haul, walked along the river bank blanketed in snow drops, ducks diving in and out, bottoms up much to our kids amusement. We explored both beaches and its caves and built flotsam and jetsam houses, listening to the faint sound of the tidal bell chime on the incoming tide. Dipped our toes in the chilly February sea, devoured an ice cream before heading home. Cemaes what a perfect afternoon, we'll be back!” - Beth
