Inspired by the surfers who return here time and again, this drawing is less about the
landscape its less than the feeling it leaves behind—the hush of the surf, the salt on the breeze, and the rare stillness that settles as daylight fades. For me, Hell’s Mouth is a place where time seems to slow.
